Gentle curves of the face, fuller cheeks and a projecting pout of the lip create a soft feminine appearance. The appearance of high cheek bones, sharp jawline & strong Cupid's bow and lip borders at the upper lip make this face obviously youthful and attractive. Oil by Vermeer, 1665

PCOS INITIATIVE

PCOS is the most common hormonal imbalance affecting women across the world. It is reported to impact 10% of all women worldwide and close to 20% of women in India. However, the awareness and understanding of the condition remain poor and associated with various stigma or shrouded in secrecy. Women with PCOD may be teens or younger, and are vulnerable to stress and complications from lack of support. Patients often suffer in silence or remain ignorant but stressed by the external signs of PCOD, which often exacerbates the condition.

We routinely treat women with this syndrome for various dermatological concerns - oily skin, acne and acne scars, hirsutism, hair loss/thinning, uneven pigmentation, acanthosis nigricans, skin tags, skin laxity & stretch marks.

PCOS Initiative is a project started by Dr. Sonam Yadav in 2012 with the goal of empowering women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome to take charge of their own health. We aim to enable patients to learn to identify, manage & minimize the cosmetic impact of PCOS on their lives.

PREGNANCY

Every product or drug that you consume, apply, or come into contact with may affect not only you but also your baby. There are a select few medications proven to be safe and effective for treating skin complaints that are associated with pregnancy or aggravated by pregnancy, which can be prescribed for you.

PLANNING A BABY

The doctor would ask during your consultation if you may plan to have a baby in the next six months. Certain medication should not be used by women and their male partners who are planning a pregnancy, or not using any form of contraception.
