DR SONAM YADAV

Dr. Sonam Yadav is a physician specialising in facial aesthetics & the long-term art and science of facial aging.

Her work is guided by a belief that excellent aesthetic medicine requires more than technical skill. It requires judgment and empathy: a deeper understanding of facial structure, respect for individual character, the skill set to treat gently and the restraint to know when not to intervene.

For over fifteen years, she has treated patients from across the world, helping them navigate the changes in their faces over time. She believes the greatest value a doctor offers is not a treatment, but judgment. She says no to treatments often. Her approach favours natural-looking, considered results that preserve facial character, than transform it.

Her role is not simply to perform procedures, but to help patients make thoughtful decisions about how they wish to age, and says no to treatments when warranted. She takes both her reputation & her patients’ faces very seriously.

Clinical Practice

Dr Yadav completed her MBBS at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, followed by an internship at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. She subsequently pursued a Diploma and MSc in Clinical Dermatology at Cardiff University School of Medicine, Wales, alongside advanced training in minimally invasive aesthetic procedures and injectables. Her further qualifications include certification from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and postgraduate diplomas in Healthcare Management and Medicolegal Studies.

After returning to Delhi in 2012, she joined a leading medical group, where her work in cosmetic dermatology expanded into business leadership across four verticals and the management of a team of seventy.

In 2016, she founded JUVERNE, an independent medical aesthetics practice established around her vision of more considered, individualised and discreet aesthetic care. At JUVERNE, Dr Yadav continues to develop an approach grounded in evidence, structural understanding, meticulous attention to detail and the belief that less is often more.

Beyond the Consulting Room

Dr Yadav’s interests extend beyond clinical practice to the wider questions surrounding beauty and aging: the medicine and science that shape them, the cultures and economies built around them, and their relationship to identity, time and modern life.

Through her writing and editorial work, she explores the intersections of medicine, culture, capital and beauty, bringing a physician’s perspective to subjects that extend well beyond the consulting room.
